A live 10 week mentorship for parents and facilitators ready to move beyond school thinking and confidently facilitate meaningful home learning.
This is an invitation to actively deschool yourself while developing the confidence, understanding and practical skills to facilitate rich, interconnected learning experiences with your children and community.
Together, we'll spend the whole of Term 3 exploring Systems Thinking through a re-indigenising lens; learning not only what systems thinking is, but how it can transform the way we approach education, childhood and learning itself.
By the end of the term, you'll have the confidence and competency to facilitate an entire systems thinking inquiry with your own family or community.
Together we will:
Become confident home learning facilitators.
Explore Systems Thinking through a re-indigenising lens.
Understand the history of the modern school system and its relationship with colonisation, industrialisation and the stories we've inherited about education.
Be gently supported through our own deschooling process.
Learn how to facilitate meaningful, project-based learning that honours curiosity while remaining curriculum aligned.
Gain practical facilitation skills you can use with your own children or within your wider community.
Walk away with real tools, practical experience and a renewed confidence in your family's learning journey.
Throughout the term you'll receive:
• Five live mentoring sessions with Aimee Aroha.
• Weekly learning modules released throughout the term to keep us learning together as one cohesive community.
• Weekly community check-ins.
• Practical projects to facilitate alongside your children.
• A private community where we'll ask questions, celebrate wins, navigate challenges and support one another throughout the journey.
This mentorship is for you if:
you're choosing a different path but sometimes wonder if you're "doing enough."
you want to move beyond simply removing your children from school and begin actively creating a rich home learning culture.
you want practical guidance, not just philosophy.
you want to understand why we educate the way we do, how to facilitate deep learning, and what this can look like in everyday family life.
This mentorship is about more than learning a new educational approach, its a full term of practical learning, experiencing and creation.
By the end of the term, you won't simply understand Systems Thinking.
You'll have experienced it, embodied it and feel equipped to facilitate it with confidence.

Matricentric and Transpersonal mentoring combines aspects of traditional talk therapy with transpersonal art therapy and other healing modalities to provide a container that values wholeness as the emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual and systemic aspects of the human experience. But at the centre is the understanding that we live in a colonised system that does not centre life, and our capacity for whole health is impacted by this truth.
Matricentric refers to a mother centred way that is non hierarchical and which centres conditions that support sustainable life and longevity on Earth.

“When I birth I embody the oldest energy on Earth; The creation of life”
Birth work is a no brainer when considering ways to support collective healing. All birth is sacred, the way we birth AND the way we are born ripples through our lives and into the collective consciousness.
Birth and parenting are deeply spiritual & transformative rite’s of passage. This has been minimised in modern colonised society, the narrative around birth has reduced it to a single, medical event when any person who has birthed a child knows it is so much more than this. As a Transpersonal Birth Mentor I acknowledge the massive significance of this transition and as such offer another way of approaching birth preparation and lens through which to look at bringing children into the world.
So many elements of our histories and lives influence birth outcomes, parenting and relationships as too does the social and systemic reality.
We cannot avoid the unpredictable nature of birth, it exists in it’s own realm, on it’s own time. It asks us to delve into places we have never been to offer up power we may have rarely, if ever, embodied before. While it is one of the most natural human experiences it’s reality is also wildly foreign to us until we have stepped into it’s realm. How can we feel prepared for such a thing?
Transpersonal and Matricentric mentoring for the child bearing continuum is for folks who understand that the journey of bringing life into the world and raising humans is a sacred responsibility and who want to understand pre colonial ways of navigating this hikoi.
Mentoring can support you in moving through your experience more intentionally, with more capacity and awareness of self.

All birth is hugely transitional and worthy of holistic support, including the experiences of early birth and intentional pregnancy release.
As a Transpersonal Birth Mentor I am dedicated to the birthing person; supporting you and your choices are my only priorities. I am not bound to the policies and procedure’s of hospitals, local GP’s, OBGYN’s or governing bodies. I support your position as the ultimate authority on your body, your right to unbiased and evidence based information, your right to make autonomous choices and to be supported in those choices by the people around you.
How we are supported and held through pregnancy, birth and postpartum are integral to our holistic wellbeing.
If you are moving through loss or pregnancy release and are seeking support through this please reach out.
This kind of support can look like face to face or online 1:1 sessions to help prepare you for your experience or to process and integrate afterwards.

I offer postpartum support as a stand alone package, postpartum is an incredibly vital time in a mama, parent and families life and of course, in the babies life. Mama / birthing parent must be held and nourished with such deep respect and tenderness. Through nourishing and supporting this newly birthed mama / parent we also support the baby. Baby reads their parents’ energy, is regulated by the parents own regulation.
We want all human beings to feel capable, seen, safe, supported and able to live in alignment with their highest selves. Nourishing the parents is integral to their own quality of life moving forward and builds the foundation of the new little human, this new consciousness that has come to Earth.
Tender, loving, appropriate care postpartum supports the family to move into the next chapter of their lives feeling strong and capable.
The work that unfolds with each client or family is always unique, always intuitive and deeply collaborative.
I offer birth story listening sessions and bespoke postpartum care packages that provide deep counsel alongside practical care such as meal preparation, body wrapping sessions and closing rituals.
These packages are created with each client individually so please reach out with enquiries.
I service the Northern Rivers area.

Are you a care provider wanting support in understanding the provision of care as a whole experience that includes a deeply spiritual aspect? Are you wanting support in holding space for the mystery that is inherent in birth? Or to explore your own inner landscape though a Transpersonal lens so you may show up for your clients more fully?
Care provider mentorships can be one off sessions or ongoing packages depending on your vision and circumstances. I use my training as a counsellor, transpersonal therapist, community worker alongside the many years of self healing experience, birthing and parenting to support you in your practice.
I work with people all over the world via zoom or in person on the Norther Rivers, Australia.
-
My group workshops are intended to be accessible for folks across the economic spectrum, they range from birth preparation, placenta knowledge, postpartum preparation and care and Mother Mentoring.
