BIRTH, BUSINESS and BREAKING CYCLES
The ‘Birth, Business and Breaking cycles’ Transpersonal Birth Mentorship is a more condensed version of the annual long term program. This is a personal and professional development program for folks wanting to pack a big punch of exploration, downloads and expansion into a shorter amount of time, instead of the six months together we will gather for 90 minutes every Saturday for 6 weeks (AEST/AEDT)
DATE: September - October 2023
SESSIONS: 90 - 120 minutes via zoom, weekly on Saturdays (AEST/AEDT)
We will have three morning sessions (10am AEST) and three afternoon sessions (3pm AEST) so participants from different timezones will be able to make at least half our live classes comfortably. Classes will of course be recorded.
We will explore impactful themes and issues with the intention to support you in deepening your practice (or future practice) and how you move through the world.
This is potentially work without the fluff for folks who feel the call to divest from the standardised way of doing things including business, birthing and raising babies.
Transpersonal is a branch of psychology that values and centres the spiritual aspects of human life alongside the mental, emotional and somatic. In Transpersonal Birth Mentoring we acknowledge the way systems and social norms impact our experience and whole health. Transpersonal Birth Mentoring is a unique and powerful modality for folks who may feel traditional therapy lacks acknowledgement of our spiritual life and/or may feel disenchanted by the fluffy "new age spiritual" world, too. TBM blends the spiritual, psychological, somatic and systemic aspects of the human journey of healing and self actualisation.
There will be a therapeutic aspect to this journey and explorations into how our own self limiting beliefs and generational imprinting are playing out in our lives today.
This is for practitioners, aspiring and established birth/healing practitioners, aspiring or established business owners and birthers or folks on the birthing continuum who want to do things differently.
This is for folks who know the dominant culture is functioning on a finite timeline and want to create more aligned and sustainable ways of birthing babies and businesses.
We know that the collective is desperately needs us strong, courageous, well and deeply rooted in our medicine.
There will be particular focus on birthing businesses and the thresholds we come up against when wanting to do things more sustainably.
Over the six weeks some of the themes we will explore include:
What is ‘Transpersonal’ perspective and how can we weave this into our work and everyday lives? Transpersonal art processes and weaving the spiritual into “the work”
The colonisation of birth and healing from a Māori perspective.
Birth imprints and trauma: How does this impact us and the Earth?
The cult(ure) of Mother as Martyr and divesting from a crisis of servitude.
Boundaries and healing as our sacred and ethical responsibility.
Finding your medicine, writing the story.

This will be the final offering of 2023 before Aimee goes on leave to have her fourth baby.
